Women's Best Sellers: The Most Chosen Models
Some models stay in the catalogue for a season, and some stay for years. The difference is made by our customers: they're the pieces they come back looking for, that they give as gifts, that they recommend.
On this page you'll find the most chosen pieces from the women's collection: leather jackets, bags and accessories made in our workshops in Florence since 1993. They're not the newest models, and often not the most eye-catching. They're the ones that still work after years.
The Jackets: Sofia, Irene, Ambra
Sofia is the best-selling leather jacket in the women's catalogue, and also the one with the most positive reviews. Black nappa leather, slim cut, a clean central zip, no extra details beyond what's needed. It's the model we recommend to those buying their first leather jacket, because it goes with everything and never grows tiresome.
Sofia Vintage has the same cut but in Crust leather, with an irregular surface: it starts out already looking lived-in and develops patina with use. Those who choose it usually already know it before trying it on.
Irene is the version with a mandarin collar, available in short and long, in a size range starting from 2XS. Ambra is the bomber in black nappa leather, with an elasticated collar and knit trims. The Chiodo Donna, in smooth and suede-fringed versions, reworks the asymmetric zip of the men's model, here in lambskin.
The Bags: Fiore, Siena, Botticelli, Pistoia
Fiore is the bag with the widest colour range — black, tan, powder pink, dark brown, denim — and is probably one of the most recognisable models in our catalogue, thanks to its shape and its craftsmanship.
Siena comes in two sizes, large for those who carry a lot with them and small for lighter days. Botticelli is the classic model, with a short handle and adjustable shoulder strap, in black and tan. Pistoia is the convertible one: worn on the shoulder or on the back as a backpack, in four colours. The Pisa backpack completes the selection with generous capacity in a compact footprint.
Why They Remain the Choice
A model becomes a best seller when it stops depending on the season.
Sofia has been in the catalogue for years and is still the most requested jacket: not because it's on trend, but because it's a piece worn over anything and built to last. Fiore is often bought again in a second colour by the same customers, which is the clearest sign that a model works. The Chiodo Donna endures because it's a shape that's existed for decades and has never gone out of style.
These are models that remain because they keep being chosen, not because we keep them in the window.
Thirty Years of Repeated Choices
Massimo Romolini opened the workshop in Florence in 1993, and the method hasn't changed over the years: the leather is chosen before the model, the work proceeds unhurried, every piece is checked before it leaves the workshop.
The best sellers come from there. Not from a meeting, but from a well-designed model, made with a hide that holds up — and then confirmed, year after year, by the people who buy it.
This, for us, is Made in Italy: not a wording on a label, but thirty years of choices made in the same place, by the same hands.
